This is a recipe I got from my cousin and I'm not really sure who Maxine is, but she makes a good chicken. This is really easy and yummy. I will add a picture soon. It is sometimes hard to fine apricot-pineapple jam, so there is a substitution listed at the end if you can't find it.
MAXINE’S CHICKEN
2 cup apricot-pineapple jam
2 cup Italian salad dressing
2 envelopes Lipton Onion Soup mix
4 chicken breasts
Mix jam, salad dressing and onion soup together. Place chicken in a pan and pour the sauce over the chicken. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serve over steamed rice.
You can substitute a can of crushed pineapple, undrained with 1 cup of apricot jam if apricot-pineapple jam is not available.
